Mark M is quite right, you wear a weight belt (with weights) when SCUBA diving as the air in the tank will make you float, as will the wetsuit and BCD.

However, if you are snorkelling and you are wearing a wetsuit and you wish to duck dive, you may consider wearing a weight belt with a little weight (not too much or you&#039;ll sink) so you can get under the surface.</description>
