What is a scuba package?
What does it mean to "service" the package (I know what that means sexually - but not with respect to SCUBA).
But seriously folks - I REALLY don't know what a SCUBA "package" is - and have no idea what it means to "service" the package.
That part was not a joke.
Is the "package" a course of lessons?
Is the "package" the dive equipment?
Is the "package" something else?
I would try to answer if I understood the words.
No one else is trying - so give it a shot.

You talking about gear?
Perhaps asking about servicing the regs, and such?
If your gear is new, it's ready to go, it doesn't need servicing. If it's used, you should have it serviced before using it, and on an annual basis after that (just the regulators, BC and computer, mind you). It shouldn't take a dive shop more than a few days to do. Basically, all they'll do is take it all apart, inspect it, clean it, lube it and put it back together.
If you have tanks, they need to be visually inspected annually and hydrostatically tested every five years. Tanks will have labels indicating their dates of inspection and testing.
If that's not what you're asking, then I also have no idea what you're referring to.
